Christmas
in Oklahoma
The gift
you are given is Jesus this day,
the gift of our Savior, the gift
of His Way;
I see Jesus in your family, in
all of your kin,
In Tim's steadfastness, in
Stephanie's grin.
The birth of God's Son is our
place to begin,
A step toward the light from the
dark cave of sin;
But 'twould be naught but a
footnote in the history of man,
Were it not for the Torbetts,
their like and their clan.
In Melissa's sweet face Jesus
looks back at me,
In her promise of life, His
footprints I see;
These are the words on my lips,
the prayer that I pray,
That she follow Him always, her
feet in His Way.
Not leaving out Matthew, nor
Trevan, young men,
I see in their eyes where Jesus
has been,
His gift to your boys are His
Word and His Call;
He gives it to each of us, to one
and to all.
The gift has been given--no
better can I do
Than to see Christ Jesus in each
one of you.
The gift I have chosen is humble
and slight,
Just to marvel at His presence in
your reflection of His light.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, DEBBIE,
TIM, MELISSA, STEPHANIE, MATTHEW
AND TREVAN!

For You
My
Christmas prayer I say
For you upon this blessed day;
Each prayer a precious Christmas
Rose
To please the Baby Child, who
knows
How many joys I wish for you;
May every one of them come true!
